Gingersnap Apple Infused Tea

Gingersnap Apple Spread
  • Earl Grey tea (2 tsp loose leaf or 2 tea bags)
  • Boiling water 
  • 1/4 cup Gingersnap Apple spread 
  • 2 cinnamon sticks 
  • 2-3 cloves
  • 2 star anise 
  • *Optional: slice of lemon or orange to serve 

In a big saucepan, add cinnamon sticks, star anise and cloves, cover with 4 cups of water and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and let steep for a few minutes.

Bring the mixture to boil, then turn off the heat and add tea. Let steep for 3-5 minutes.

After that time, place a strainer in your teapot, and pour the tea into it.

Scoop a few heaping tablespoons of the Gingersnap Apple spread into the same pot and stir. Leave for 1-2 minutes to cool down. 

Pour the tea into cups, serve with lemon or orange slices. Enjoy!
